Sydney Mack reaches new heights

Mont Alto, Pa. - On Saturday, September 20, fourth year USCAA All-American and PSUAC All-Conference star Sydney Mack recorded her 1,000th career kill as the Nittany Lions picked up a pair of wins over Penn State Mont Alto and Christendom College. Starting the day just 19 shy of the mark, Mack registered 12 kills in a 3-0 win over Mont Alto before reaching the milestone early in Hazleton's 3-1 win over Christendom. Mack's achievement marks the first time in program history that a Nittany Lion Women's Volleyball player has reached 1,000 kills as she continues to set records for the program and position herself with the all-time greats in Penn State Hazleton sports history. 

On Tuesday, September 23 at 6:50 p.m. Mack will be recognized for her achievement in the Dr. Thomas M. Caccese Gymnasium prior to the non-conference match with Penn State Berks.
